Did it make sense?
Yes. It was clearly written but there was so much to take in. I needed to slow the screen, rewind the video and sometimes stop it altogether before I could absorb the information.
What did I learn from it?
It is necessary to mnow when we need information, to locate it and to be able to shift through information effectively and efficiently.
What were the main points?
Using the Discover method of Information Literacy will help students develop a sensible technique to shift through data overload. Discover is abbreviated for: Define Inquire Search Collect Organise Verify Express and Reflect.
Do you consider yourself to be Information Literate?
I am information literate in the printed text but realise that I need to be aware of how the digital age is using information and how I can function within this environment.
